Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/4 cup hard root beer
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 burger buns
- 1 cup blue cheese crumbles
- 1 cup crispy fried onions
- Lettuce leaves, for garnish
- Tomato slices, for garnish
- Mayonnaise, ketchup, or mustard, as desired
Instructions:
Put the ground beef and hard root beer in a bowl and mix them together
Add pepper and salt to taste
Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty
Warm up your grill or pan on the stove by setting it on medium-high heat
You can grill or pan-fry the burger patties until theyre done the way you like them
For medium-rare, it takes about 4 to 5 minutes per side
Before the burgers are done, put blue cheese crumbles on top of each one and cover to melt the cheese
You can grill or toast the burger buns until they are just barely browned
To put together the burgers, start with a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun
Then add a burger patty with melted blue cheese, tomato slices, and crispy fried onions
Put mayonnaise, ketchup, or mustard on the top bun, and then put it on top of the burger
