Ingredients:
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese
- 8 large eggs
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped chives optional, for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C
Grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or butter
Evenly distribute the crumbled bacon and shredded Gruyere cheese into each muffin cup
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper until well combined
Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese in each muffin cup, filling about 3/4 full
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the egg bites are set and lightly golden on top
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before carefully removing the egg bites from the muffin tin
Garnish with chopped chives if desired
Serve warm and enjoy
