Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chunks
- 1 cup toffee bits
- Flaky sea salt, for topping
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375F 190C and line baking sheets with parchment paper
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition
Stir in the vanilla extract
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined
Fold in the chocolate chunks and toffee bits
Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still slightly soft
Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt over each cookie
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely
