This chia seed breakfast bowl is a healthy and tasty way to start the day. It is vegan and gluten-free. This breakfast bowl is full of healthy things because the chia seeds are full of fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, and antioxidants. Plus, you can add your favorite toppings to make it your own
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Toppings of choice: sliced fruits, nuts, shredded coconut, hemp seeds
Instructions:
Add the chia seeds, almond milk, mashed banana, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to a bowl and mix them together
Put the bowl in the fridge overnight or for at least two hours until the mixture gets thick
Before serving, stir the mixture
If you want a different consistency, you can add more almond milk
